Our Story

Founded in Orange County in 1981, Amigos de los Niños is a volunteer-led fundraising organization committed to improving the lives of children with special needs. What began as a small group of local business professionals has grown into a dedicated community of volunteers who believe in giving back to the children and families in our community. For more than four decades, Amigos de los Niños has focused on supporting organizations that provide critical care, education, and resources to children facing mental, physical, and emotional challenges. Our work is rooted in compassion, community, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Our Mission

Amigos de los Niños raises funds to support local children’s foundations across Orange County, CA serving children with special needs. Through fundraising events and community partnerships, we help ensure these organizations have the resources they need to provide care, education, and support to the children they serve.

Our Impact

Since 1981, Amigos de los Niños has proudly supported numerous local organizations dedicated to improving the health, development, and well-being of children in our community. By directing funds where they are needed most, we help strengthen programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.  Our impact is made possible entirely through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and volunteers who share our commitment to helping children succeed.
